Key Features & Benefits
Most repair rings are a single piece of painted steel. The Clam isn’t — and that changes the whole job.
The halves fit around the pipe and lock together with the flange still in place — no threading a solid ring over the pipe, no fighting what’s left of the old one.
The Clam snaps around and under the lip of the existing PVC or ABS flange, gripping the flange itself — not just relying on screws in a compromised floor.
Painted steel rings are why the flange failed in the first place. The Clam is stamped from extra-thick 409 stainless steel — it won’t rust out a second time.
The traditional fix means cutting out the whole flange assembly — sometimes the floor with it. The Clam repairs it in place with a standard wax ring.

Fit the two stainless halves around the pipe, locking the inner lip into the flange groove, and screw to the floor.
Place the wax ring
Seat a standard wax ring (not included) just like any flange.
Reset the toilet
Bolt the bowl back down — tighter and stronger than the original ring.

“After much research, I found this flange and was convinced this would solve my problem… After I removed the old flange, I waterproofed the surface and installed the Clam Flange. This worked like a charm… All in all, this is an excellent part that will last. I do recommend this and wish all toilet flanges were made of stainless.”
